Where it started

By riders, for riders

Cabra Ventura is a Belgian off-road travel organisation for enduro riders, by enduro riders. We love to travel and rode our bikes all around the world.

Now we’ve come to a point where we want to share that passion, and everything we picked up along the way, with other people.

The Cabra philosophy

Portugal,
our base camp

Portugal is the place we’ve always come back to between our other travels. So to us it just felt natural to use this beautiful and very diverse country as a base for our trips. It’s also closer to Morocco, where our desert tours run.

Nothing that
feels organised

Our goal is to give people an experience that is unique, feels adventurous and doesn’t feel like anything organised. We want to let you immerse yourself in the local culture, and we always work together with local restaurants, bars and guides.

That extra
factor

We really feel obliged to give a trip that extra factor people just can’t duplicate on their own. Sometimes we opt for a two day adventure to the highest mountain in the area, or head across the mountain range and spend two nights out there. Just because only riding loops didn’t feel special enough to us.

Sometimes we visit a friend’s local bar in the evening, go and eat the special local meat you can only get in one small restaurant, start a big bonfire on the camping ground, or just throw a party before a rest day.

One thing is for sure, it won’t be boring!

Quality over
quantity

We’ve been guiding and organising trips for multiple years now, and we want to emphasise that we always take quality over quantity. By creating a good and laid back atmosphere we notice that riders are less stressed and the group spirit is up.

We want everybody to have a really good time and go home with a unique experience, not with broken bones. No egos, just chillness and fun.

Why Cabra
Ventura?

In Portugal enduro riders are often compared to mountain goats, especially by us and other foreign riders. They just keep jumping those rocks and boulders like goats do. So we thought it would be cool to put a goat in our logo. And a goat is called uma cabra in Portuguese. There we go, that’s how Cabra Ventura was born.

And of course, goats just rock!

Where we’re
headed

Organising enduro trips all around the globe. From Portugal to Morocco to South Africa, and maybe some day we’ll take you to Mongolia or visit our enduro friends in Almaty. The sky is the limit, so if you have an original idea for a next enduro trip, just hit us up.

In the meantime we keep travelling on our own, scouting for the next big enduro adventure. And not least, we want to start riding Rally Raid. So by booking a trip with Cabra Ventura, you’re supporting us too.

Dedicated, adventurous people.

Photos, video, the site. We couldn’t have had a better addition to the team. He completes us in every way we suck.

Jana

The lifeline

Our enduro trip runs on two fluids: gasoline and whatever Jana is supplying. The moment the engines turn off, she’ll be waiting for you with a cold drink, answering all your accommodation questions, and making sure you have a good night’s sleep.

The German Master of Metal & Mechanics

An enduro trip is brutal on the bikes. Rocks, mud, and hard crashes will try to break them, but they stand zero chance against Olaf, our absolute machine of a mechanic.

Ride with us

Every tour is scouted and guided by the crew you just met. Pick a date and we’ll take care of the rest.
